Frequently Asked Questions

-
Do we receive digital photos with the purchase of a session?
-
No. With the exception of wedding packages, digital photos are not included in the session price. However, you will receive an edited digital copy of each print you purchase allowing you to make as many copies as you wish.
-
-
Are we required to purchase a Folio Collection or a minimum number of prints?
-
There is no minimum purchase required. You only purchase the prints you love whether that is one photo or all of them. It is totally up to you. On average, the typical client purchases 12-15 prints.

-
What is the smallest print size you sell?
-
The smallest print we sell is 7x10 inches. It is then matted to an outside dimension of 11x14 inches which is a standard frame size that can be found in any store that sells picture frames (see the image above). But remember, when you purchase a print, you also receive the edited digital copy allowing you to print any size image you want all the way down to wallets if you really want to.

Do you post an online gallery for viewing and ordering photos?
-
No. After the session, the best photos are professionally edited, printed, matted, and put on display in the studio for you to view and purchase allowing you to take your favorites home with you the same day along with a disc of the corresponding edited digital files of the prints you purchase. The image on the left above is an example of the final reveal session.

No. As a professional photographer and artist, I do not share any unedited photos with my clients. You shouldn't have to waste your time sorting through hundreds of nearly identical images, that's my job.

When is the best time to do maternity photos?
-
30-35 weeks. That way your belly will be nice and round, but you won't be too uncomfortable yet.
-
-
When is the best time to do newborn photos?
-
The best time for newborn photos is around 5-10 days after birth, when the baby is truly newly born. If you wait much longer after this time, it will be much harder to get the baby to stay asleep and cooperate for some of those favorite poses you see everywhere.

How long does it typically take for our photos to be edited and ready to view?
-
It usually takes 2-3 weeks to edit and print photos from a standard photo session. Due to the extremely high volume of photos, it can take 8-10 weeks for wedding photos to be edited and ready to view. And please remember, we will be shooting and editing other clients' photos as well.
